Groote Post is owned by 3rd and 4th generation farmers Peter and Nick Pentz who sold off their prized dairy farming operation in 2001 to focus solely on producing award-winning wines. Situated just 7 kilometers from the chilly Atlantic Ocean, the estate is favored with a consistently cool climate that is perfect for the cultivation of many noble grape varieties.
